These two bonded siblings arrived together at the Carson Shelter in Carson, California on July 25. They were found in the Compton neighborhood near Rosecrans and Atlantic Avenues. Do they look familiar?

Both dogs were heavily matted and seemingly neglected; they were groomed by volunteers when they arrived, and no doubt feel so much better. We wanted to share a few special moments the dogs and how they looked to each other for comfort, – even in spite of the shelter chaos.

(NOTE: The video seems to indicate both dogs are males. It is possible the dogs were so badly matted when they entered, shelter personnel could not determine gender)
