A tiny, lifeless dog, caked in urine, was discovered at a bus stop near St. Louis on Wednesday. A man, on his way to work, had been running late spotted the dog, and because he knew he had to help this defenseless animal, missed his bus.
The dog had no energy; she could not stand or walk; she was so thin and had little muscle tone. The man was so shocked, but refused to leave her there. He untied her and carried the dog all the way home. He ran inside his home and called Stray Rescue of St. Louis because he did not know what to do. All he knew was he had to get this puppy help. The staff went to pick up the puppy; later that day she was named She-Ra.
And now just days later, She-Ra has been making a miraculous recovery. Her new life began with a comprehensive physical examination, a bath, food and of course, lots of love from the staff.
With an amazing will to live, She-Ra has not disappointed her new friends:
She-Ra is loving taking in the sights from her chariot. She’s eating good, she’s clean, and she’s lifting her front body on her own. Nothing will keep her down

What a special day she had on Friday – you know – getting out and getting some air and enjoying the sights.
And now today! (Drum roll please) She-Ra is up and walking by herself. Nothing is going to stop this puppy. Sadly, there are monsters out there, but this puppy only has the best life she can live ahead of her.
