Heartbreaking adoption event as dog watched for hours as puppies left with families and no one showed any interest in her

In Houston, Texas, a Mother’s Day dog adoption event at PetSet, turned out to be another heartbreaking day for a dog named Shiloh. For hours, Shiloh watched people arrive to adopt their new little puppies and then leave. She watched for hours.

A volunteer from Waiting Under the Willow Foundation had been at the adoption event with Shiloh and her heart hurt for this pup who only wants to be loved:

Never a bark or sound from her. She sat there patiently waiting as very few people showed any interest in her. When people would walk by, she would slowly walk up to them asking for a pet.

Shiloh repeatedly walked up to people as they walked by; she never jumped on anyone, and she is just a gentle soul wanting to be loved by her own human.

Sadly, Shiloh had a similar experience at an adoption event just two weeks prior. It was as if she didn’t matter to anyone. Oh Shiloh, we know better, and now we want everyone to meet you.

Shiloh waits for someone to love her at Waiting Under the Willow Foundation. Whoever adopts her will be the lucky one. She is by far the sweetest dog who loves to snuggle and will love you unconditionally.
