Saddest senior Lab retriever arrived at shelter as stray and needs help quickly

At the Carson Animal Shelter in California, a 10-year-old Labrador retriever arrived on November 5, 2023 and her family never showed up to claim her. Her name is Mrs. Nesbit, and she needs help now. Please read her story and share her plight. Senior dogs do not attract a lot of attention for adoption, but every life is worth saving, and this sweet older girl deserves better than to perish in an overcrowded shelter.

We don’t have much information about her, but when you view the video available by scrolling down, it’s heartbreaking to see how she has just given up.

She looks so sad. She needs love. Too bad you couldn’t take her to visit people in an old people’s home. They would love it and she would too. Think about it. I wish I could hug this baby right now. I have a 10 year old that looks just like her. I love him to pieces.
