Heartbreaking: Another young handsome German shepherd not doing well in shelter doomed to be put to sleep

UPDATE: Still listed and video clip included

Keenan needs our help. Tragically, his life is about to end, but before that happens we can help. This one-year-old dog is currently at the Riverside County Animal Control, and has been showing symptoms of severe kennel stress and unsocial behavior. As with most shepherds, Keenan needs mental and physical stimulation, and in overcrowded conditions, there are not enough staff or volunteers to provide for the needs of these highly intelligent and active dogs.

Can we please try and stop this from happening? Let’s share Keenan to get him seen. If able to be a committed long term foster please contact the shelter. Adoptions must be done in person; fees on coded dogs are very minimal. He deserves a chance to have a loving home of his own.

Animal ID: #A1755918 Keenan

Gender: Male

Color: Black and Brown

Breed: German Shepherd Dog

Age: 1 year, 1 month old

Located At: Riverside Shelter

Kennel Substatus: BEHAVIOR

Comments: Showing severe signs of kennel stress and unsocial behavior. Not doing well in kennel environment (on euthanasia list)

He’s still listed, and that means he is still alive and able to be rescued.

Please share this boy’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. Follow the progress to save Keenan’s life here.

Here is his shelter video. He hasn’t had a chance. Please help:
