It’s doubtful any dog lover would ever abandon their dog to a shelter at any age, but at 12-years-old? Sadly, here he is. Angel is a senior who was surrendered to San Antonio Animal Services last week by his owner in horrible condition. It is extremely depressing to think Angel has lived like this for a long time; a dog doesn’t get into this condition overnight.

The shelter staff think I am about 12 years old.
I was surrendered by my owner and am currently at San Antonio Animal Care Services.
