For 71 days at the Animal Foundation, a sweet senior pooch sat by the window and hoped for her family to return or waited for a special someone to walk through the door and tell her to get her collar and leash together because they were all going home.
Lucy sits and waits at this window all day, hoping someone will adopt her. She has been waiting 71 days for a family to pick her. Lucy is a social girl who loves belly rubs, treats and walks in the park. Lucy’s adoption fee is waived. Her ID# is A1247361

Lucy has been a staff favorite, and on a recent outing with one of the shelter volunteers, she earned lots of raves and awesome reviews. Lucy was a perfect lady during her car ride, her walk and was gentle and loving to the volunteer’s four-year-old child who accompanied them the entire day.
And so the miracles of social media did their job, and Lucy’s story quickly garnered lots of attention soon after her photo, looking out the window, was posted. We mean – just look at that precious face. Just hours later, Lucy was adopted.
