Meeting Christmas shelter strays ‘Donner and Blitzen’ who have stolen hearts

At the Dallas Dog – Rescue, Rehab. Reform, two little pups were rescued from one of the local shelters last night. Who wouldn’t want to help these two puppies who were in need of emergency veterinary intervention?

The puppies have been named Donner and Blitzen, and the female puppy is very sick and had been trying her best to maintain her body temperature. She was lethargic, slightly anemic and suffers from pneumonia. She has been rushed to the emergency veterinarian hospital where she is now being given oxygen, started on intravenous fluids, medication and placed on warmers to raise her current temperature of 94 degrees.
