In Livonia, Michigan, a truck driver, making a delivery for Walmart on April 5, shot a family’s dog on Easter Sunday because he was “scared.” The dog, named Daisy ran away. No one knew how serious Daisy had been injured or if she was still alive.
Adam Forma, Daisy’s owner, searched for his dog all week. The family hired a drone to help in the search, but there were no reports that anyone had seen her. The family lives in the middle of a residential neighborhood in a subdivision off Farmington Road and have a hard time believing the driver shot their dog.

And now one week lager – Daisy was found alive! Daisy was found on April 13 near her home after a neighborhood search.
The family brought her to be examined by a veterinarian to assess her injury. According to the family, the bullet appeared to have ricocheted off the dog’ head. A family report indicates the bullet bounced off of Daisy’s skull.

The driver had been delivering a forgotten package of marshmallow Peeps from Walmart while the family was gone.
No one knows how the Australian shepherd got out of the house; neither one of the family dogs knew how to open the two main doors to the unlocked home. No one in the family had left both doors open when they left.
The driver, a CPL holder, remained at the home and told police he shot the dog because he was “scared.”
People have since stated Daisy has been in great spirits and had not been adversely affected by her scary experience.
Imagine how relieved her family is! And surely Daisy is happy to be home.
