The non profit animal Hounds in Pounds rescued a 12-week-old, 18-pound puppy from a trash bag with a serious head injury. A passerby had spotted the trash bag on the street moving; inside was a puppy. Someone had heartlessly stuffed him into the bag and thrown him away as if his life meant nothing.

And if abandoning any living creature wasn’t bad enough, the pup had been struck in the head, leaving him dazed and frightened. Had the Good Samaritan not found the puppy, it is likely it would not have taken long for him to have suffocated or died from his injuries.

Now for his arrival – when brought to the local animal shelter, the puppy met the staff with nothing but love.
Meet Toe Beans:

toe beans smothered the shelter staff in kisses, tail wags and snuggles as if to say ‘thank you for giving me a chance.’
The puppy has remained gentle and affectionate, proving how, even when humans are at their cruelest, dogs have little hesitation showing forgiveness. Toe Beans presents with the most beautiful soft coloring, a sweet little face and those irresistible pink toes that gave him his perfect name!
Here he is .. feeling much better:
Dr. Terry has been treating the puppy, and just today, this precious puppy is ready to find his forever home.
