An eight-week-old adorable puppy has garnered celebrity status after collective hearts were broken across the country after she was returned to the shelter after 24 hours by her foster mom for “crying too much.” Please do note that this had been the first time the puppy, named Boo, had been separated from her littermates Mike and Sully.

Most puppies are not separated from their mothers until they are 10 – 12 weeks of age, but this litter had a very rough time from the beginning and have relied on each other and the kind staff caring for them since they were rescued.

Life quickly got better for the puppies; everyday they seemed cuter and ready to find their new loving families.

On March 23, the happy word “ADOPTED” appeared over Boo’s photo from the El Paso, Texas rescue, Compassionate Canine Society.

My favorite post… ADOPTED

Boo went to her ‘foster to adopt’ home today (I failed to take pics of her with her new furever family .

Boo’s littermates Mike and Sulley also attended an adoption event, and they were scheduled for “meet and greets.”

Sadly, just 24 hours later, Boo was returned:

mind you she is an 8-week-old puppy who was separated from her littermates for the first time ever. and to make things worse, she has a giant knot on her head. Ugh people suck.
