Meet Miss Ruby! This cuddly 165-pound Rottweiler is patiently waiting for her “furever” home. According to the Dekalb Animal Services in Georgia, Miss Ruby was an owner surrender who reluctantly had to sign her over because of landlord issues.
Because of Miss Ruby’s size, the shelter is taking extra precautions assessing her:
… owner surrender who came in on 4/30. She is ready to go. Unknown with other dogs – but has done well with every person she’s met. Understandably with her size, our team is taking precautions introducing her to new things while she is grieving the loss of her loving home ): I recommend slow introductions and lots of separation regardless due to her size.
There are no notes as how Miss Ruby does with children, however when out in the yard with a volunteer, she did very well with everyone she met. Another volunteer stated Miss Ruby is very “sweet and low energy.”
