At the shelter in San Bernardino City, a photo of a six-month-old shepherd, Baby, who entered the shelter on March 13 as a stray, shows a very depressed young dog shivering in the corner of her kennel. With her photo, the following description included:
does not solitict attention. Hiding. will not come forward.

Meet Baby #A563428. She is six-months-old and weighs 34 pounds. Multiple videos of Baby are available showing her happily frolicking with another puppy while soliciting attention from the shelter volunteers.

My name is Baby and I am an unaltered female, sable and brown German Shepherd Dog. Shelter staff think I am about 6 months old. I have been at the shelter since Mar 13, 2024.
How sad to think that this puppy’s life is due to be extinguished on March 27, and this is how her plight is being shown by the shelter. If you have taken the time to check out the videos made by compassionate volunteers, doesn’t Baby seem to be very sweet and adoptable?
If you feel as I do that whoever is making these decisions and signing the death warrants for highly adoptable dogs, please share them before it’s too late and let your voice be heard. The director of this shelter is Kristine Watson. Her email is [email protected]
