At the rural Nueces County Shelter in South Texas, Zyon has been a good boy, yet there have been no calls, no texts and no interest in giving him a home. He’s only been alive for a few years; just heartbreaking to know in a few hours he could be taking his last walk – tail wagging and likely thinking he would be going on a fun adventure with one of the staff.
he wasn’t colorful enough, breed specific enough, or special enough for anyone to show him what that special human-dog bound was. Longest resident. Times Up!

Zyon is happy for every scrap of attention he can get, he is smiling and engaged in every picture. How would he react if he knew the EU room is imminent because NO ONE IS TEXTING to get this young boy.
