This two-year-old German shepherd struggled to survive the harsh living conditions on the streets in the San Bernardino area of California. Her scars are grim reminders of the days she fought to scavenge for food and safely hide from predators.

On February 3, 2023, she arrived at City of San Bernardino Animal Services as a stray, and since then has seen scores of dogs come and go. No one seems to have any interest in this “street urchin,” even though she quickly warms up to visitors and so desperately wants to be held and loved by her own human.

Please don’t ignore her. She’s been ignored her entire life. Meet her. Adopt her. Cherish her and strive to be worthy of her greatness. Her status is critically urgent!

Jules is a two-year-old, unaltered female, white and tan German Shepherd Dog. Shelter staff think she is about 2 years and 2 months old. She has been at the shelter since Feb 03, 2023.

Visitors are allowed access from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. To adopt, please call in advance and schedule an appointment 909.384.7272 0r 909.384.1304.

Sadly, Jules had been kept in isolation and labeled as “fearful” however she has done well with her behaviorist and a volunteer along with other dogs in a playgroup setting. Jules is reported to walk fine on a leash; this poor soul just needs a break! Can you help her?
