Meet Red Bud – perhaps the sweetest senior pup anyone has ever met. He gave his owners every bit of love and loyalty he had, and even when he was hurt and feeling betrayed as they dumped him at a local shelter, Red still held out hope his people would return.

Red is missing his front leg. It is not known what happened, but someone surely cared about this boy once. And now that someone special is gone. And just when Red Bud needs his people the most, they no longer care. No one has stepped forward.

Sadly, Red was dumped, but Angels Among Us Pet Rescue has offered to help. Although he sits in his shelter enclosure waiting for his people to return, and although we know they are not coming back, we can offer Red a new life by helping him find that comfortable home with soft pillows, warm blankets, tasty and nutritious food and lots of love.

We know the value of an old soul. We know the love they still have to give. We know the gratitude they feel shen they settle inot a cozy bed in their foster home and know they are safe.

  1. Poor guy’s owner probably passed away and was dumped by the adult kids. See it everyday. At least he was dumped at a shelter instead of just tossed into the street.

    • I can’t understand how someone could dump a beloved family member onto the streets…… We promised my parents (on their deathbeds) that we would always care for their dogs and horses. We would not have it any other way!!!

Older furbabies are more important than any “possessions”……. They are a source of comfort for us to think of my parents……

  2. PLEASE SUPPORT THESE MIRACLE WORKERS WHO ARE HELPING DEAREST RED BUD!

TO THE HEARTLESS BRAINLESS SUBHUMANS WHO ABANDONED HIM–FIRST, “KARMA”–NEXT, “HELL”!
