It had been just a few days before Mother’s Day 2023, when an irresponsible and surely heartless owner who bred a 17-year-old Great Dane, watched their dog die giving birth to four puppies.
According to the rescue organization ThisIsHouston, her puppies were then been surrendered to a veterinarian clinic. Four puppies were rushed to the clinic, however one puppy was in critical condition and has been in the care of a veterinarian technician.
And now to the other three; introducing Tommy, Lillian and Angelica. They are all in the care of a bottle-feeder foster parent, and everyone is grateful this person has welcomed these little ones into her home. The dogs are said to be Great Danes.
It has been heart wrenching to realize a senior dog was pregnant and passed away for that reason. It is just as sad to think the puppies never had a moment to bond with their mother, or the mom – to have had the honor of taking care of her puppies.

A 17 year old great dane! That is amazing danes are usually lucky to make it to 10 years so this owner should have just been happy and felt blessed the dog lived such a long time, instead of breeding her. Although we also have to wonderwhy she wasn’t spayed as a puppy
