A one-year-old Mastiff arrived at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter in California on September 28 as a stray and is waiting for a new home and someone special to love him. The very friendly pup seems to be heartbroken; sadly we do not know his story, but truly wish his family would hurry to his rescue.
A volunteer offered this observation:
i saw him today and he just seemed like an uncoordinated goober. …it looked like he had been taught to sit but was struggling to listen because how scared he is here.

The dog is being kenneled with two other medium sized dogs, and all of the dogs seemed to be getting along fine.

I am a male, brown Mastiff. Shelter staff think I am about 1 year old. I have been at the shelter since Sep 28, 2023.
If you are my owner, you must physically come to the shelter to claim me. We are located at 333 Chandler Place, San Bernardino, CA 92408. Our Lost & Found hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 am to 5 pm.
If I am not claimed, after my stray holding period, I may be available for adoption on Oct 02, 2023.
