We never know when an angel is busy working a miracle, but for a dog named Ginger who had failed as a guard dog, and her owner surrendered her to a kill shelter where she had been scheduled to be euthanized, that angel arrived just in time. We are sure Ginger’s story will inspire you to believe in the genuine kindness of angels – either here or somewhere up above.

Ginger had already been scheduled to be put to sleep the next morning, and one last dinner the night before her euthanasia was placed in front of her.

It had been the shelter’s veterinarian, however that had met Ginger and just couldn’t bear the thought of this young, friendly dog who stared back at him with hope in her eyes and her tail wagging in pure joy being put to sleep. And so the veterinarian called Sidewalk Specials for help.

Off she went, and when her story hit social media, people wanted to help. Ginger had some physical needs which called for veterinarian care, and between her face and her emotional story, the donations poured in.

Ginger did get her happily ever after. Check out the video:

They even have matching outfits.
