A tourist in India had been teasing an elephant with a banana by holding it in front of his mouth, and just as the elephant tried to bite into the treat, the woman would pull the banana away.
The woman had been talking to the elephant as she dangled the banana in front of the pachyderm, but after she repeatedly pulled the treat away, he became aggressive and used his trunk and tusks to hurl the woman backwards and flying through the air.
According to Indian Forest Service Officer Susanta Nanda, who shared the incident on social media, he captioned the following clip from Twitter. (Click here to see video)
You can’t fool an elephant even though he is tamed. They are one of the most intelligent animals to be in captivity.

There have been many Twitter followers who were concerned if the young woman was injured and how badly, however others insisted the woman should have known better, and it was not the elephant’s fault that he flung her across the ground. After all, he’s a wild animal and surely has not been taught the notion of being teased and taunted for a laugh.
The woman’s condition is unknown.
