Grant County, WA – A gorgeous German shepherd was surrendered by her family to a Moses Lake, WA, animal shelter and today, after nearly a year, she continues to wait for someone to choose her. It is hard to imagine why Anabelle has been overlooked by potential adopters – she is strikingly beautiful, and smart!

But here she is, waiting and wondering why nobody wants her. The Grant County Animal Outreach Facebook page said:

Wellllll hello there, did you miss seeing me here? I have been here at the shelter since Dec. of 2021. Almost a year. The GCAO staff is amazing, but I would really like to find my furever home. I don’t understand why I was given up. I don’t know why my family left me. It has been a while, but my heart thinks of them often 😢. I just want to be loved, secure, and in a safe home.

Anabelle loves to play with toys and people, and she knows several commands, including sit, down, shake and stay. Anabelle is just three years of age – the perfect age for a German shepherd! She is past the puppy stage, and far from “senior” status. Will you please share Anabelle’s story to help her find the person who will make her a treasured part of their family?

The shelter is located at 6725 Randolph Rd. Moses Lake. Shelter phone number is: 509 762-9616
