In Manchester, United Kingdom, a German shepherd was spotted clinging to a dock post on the edge of Fairhaven Lake early Friday morning. A Good Samaritan posted the picture of the dog on social media asking for help.
This dog is in the lake at fairhaven lake. No owner around and it seems like it’s been here all night. It’s shivering, not sure if it’s tied up. Does anyone know who this dog is? Please share.

Homeward Bound Rescue‘s volunteers, along with the RSPCA, police and fire departments were there and used special equipment to rescue the dog from the water. He was then transferred to the Veterinary Health Centre where he was reportedly doing better.
The dog has been claimed by his/her owner. The police are involved and have been speaking to the rescue organization and a number of other people who have information. The police were with the owner when the dog was claimed from the vets.
