A senior dog named Jordan finds himself in need of a new home in the twilight of his life because his owners were going through a divorce and nobody wanted him. The eight-year-old boxer is now waiting for a home at the Virginia Beach Animal Care Center.
The animal welfare agency said:
Oh Jordan. This 8 year old boy is here after living with his owners his whole life. Here due to divorce and neither owner wanted him.
Describing his medical conditions/needs:
He has been dealing with some medical issues lately and we are trying to piece as much together for him that we can. So far his medical checks have come back looking good. He had a report of two seizures in the last year – this is not enough to warrant daily medication but something to monitor. He does have some skin issues that need a little routine attention.
According to the staff, Jordan is quite scared at the shelter. The staff writes:
He is a heartbreaker and we would love to find him a boxer-loving home to spoil him for whatever time he has left.
