A dog is understandably stressed after being taken in at a California animal shelter and giving birth to two puppies. Sadly, one of the puppies did not survive, but there is one remaining puppy and her lovely mother, Everglade, who urgently need to be rescued from the Tracy Animal Services facility.
Staff writes:
Everglade was brought into the shelter as a stray on July 07, 2022. At the time of her intake, her personality peeked through, and she was observed to easy going, playful and very affectionate.
With much surprise, staff arrived this morning to find two puppies. Sadly, one of the puppies was still born. Everglade is now resting but seems highly stressed here in the shelter.
The shelter urgently needs this small family moved to a safe, stress-free location. On July 10, the agency said:
If your rescue can transfer mom and puppy into your care, please call us (209) 831-6364 or email [email protected]. Due to the urgency, please call today!
