In the San Gabriel Mountains amid deep canyons, steep slopes and narrow ridges, lies the Lytle Creek shooting area. And this is the spot where an unknown heartless owner abandoned a dog in urgent need of medical care.
Visitors in the area spotted the dog on Saturday morning and immediately went over to help. Faith Easdale and her team arrived and made arrangements to rush the frightened dog to an emergency veterinarian. The dog’s extremely swollen belly and her difficulty breathing made her plight even more heartbreaking. Who could be so mean to dump a dog at a shooting area. Was the dog pregnant and about to deliver a litter of puppies or was there something else wrong with her?

She’s full of toxic fluid
It’s absolutely heartbreaking
Praying so hard she makes it
I haven’t had time to breathe much least catch up on the never ending rescues

Beyond disgusting and tragic. I hope she can be restored to health. Ideally someone local can open up their heart and home for her. It would be wonderful for her to be rehomed into a loving furever family who will treat her as a beloved family member for her entire life.
The POS who allowed her to get into this condition and abandoned her will burn forever in the hottest part of Hell for their cruelty.

Sorry to report that this beautiful girl passed tonight. I knew from the moment I rescued her that she was special and did nor deserve the cruelty that was inflicted on her. Left to suffer for months with no medical care and then thrown out to die. I’m pleading with everyone if you see a human inflicting cruelty of any kind on an animal. Please report it. This type of abuse needs to stop.
