The final plea has been issued on behalf of a five-year-old dog named Stanley, who is being held at the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California. On March 18, the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page wrote:

URGENT! FINAL PLEA!! 🚨🚨🚨 🔷🐶🐾 Please FOSTER or ADOPT Today! 🐾🐶

Hello, the Carson Animal Care Center is requesting rescue assistance for Stanley. Stanley is behaviorally ok for pubic adoption with no children younger than middle school age required (if going to a home with children). If you are able to rescue Stanley please contact the Carson Animal Care Center ASAP. Stanley is on his second round of URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) and is currently being treated.

Stanley has been held at the animal shelter since February 1 – during the nearly two months that have passed, nobody has chosen him to take home.

Shelter staff has noted that Stanley can be “selective” with other dogs, but he is considered to be behaviorally okay for public adoption. But time is running out, and Stanley has been dealing with a respiratory infection which could get worse if he does not leave the shelter environment. Will you please share Stanley’s information before it is too late? Networking saves lives.
