In Hildago, Texas, another disturbing video went viral on Sunday. A 14-year-old boy who called himself Joe recorded himself abusing his cat. In this particular video, the teen threw the cat across the room towards the kitchen as the cat was painfully slammed against a table.
The teen could be seen picking up the cat by the scruff of its neck; the cat stiffened up in fear. The kid threw the cat across the room as the cat slammed against the side table. A woman was heard in the background yelling “hey.”
As outraged animal advocates called out for the cat to be removed immediately from the home, the Hildago Police were overrun with phone calls asking for help rescuing the cat. According to The Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation, the Hildago Police chief has confirmed the cat is out of the home and has been removed from the home. They said the cat seems healthy and stayed at the police station overnight.
“Joe and his family will be going to the police station today to fill out the surrender forms. Charges might be pressed against him and his family. Once the surrender of the cat is completed she with be going to @adventuresfoster and their group.
The police chief stated they received over 400 calls in just a few hours and all these calls were blowing up their phones. Special thanks to everyone that called and filed a report against this person.”
