Circus bear attacks trainer after being forced to push wheelbarrow

In a disturbing display of animal cruelty and the dire consequences using wild animals, a viral video captured the moment a 600-pound bear attacked its trainer in the middle of a circus performance in Karelia, Russia on Tuesday. The bear was to be the star attraction at the Anshlag Tent Circus.

According to the Mirror, the brown bear was pushing a wheelbarrow when it defiantly lunged at the trainer knocking the man to the ground. Even though he was muzzled, the bear managed to bite the man’s head and neck. Because there was no safety barrier between the stage and the audience, children and their parents screamed as they scrambled to get away.

Another circus employee kicked the bear to try and free the trainer. When the bear was hit with an electrical shock device, he retreated.

“In which looks like a part of the act, the bear can be seen ‘high-fiving’ the trainer. Soon after, the trainer turns to the audience to jeer them on and the bear takes its chance to attack.”

Sadly, even after the bear was shocked with the electric prod, it walked around the arena in a “frenzied state.” Police and safety officials are investigating the incident.

What kind of circus is this to abuse wild animals?

THESE ANIMALS ARE SERIOUS VICTIMS OF ABUSE!
