Abandoned bunny found clinging to his stuffed teddy bear

An abandoned bunny was discovered in London in a box left on the side of the road. The Good Samaritan who found him was shocked and truly heartbroken as she opened the box – the bunny was clinging to his stuffed teddy bear.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals  (RSPCA) England and Wales are caring for the rabbit, now named Nigel.

“This is absolutely heartbreaking 💔 This rabbit was dumped in the cold by the side of the road, with just his favourite teddy bear with him 😭 Thankfully a kind member of the public spotted him and called us,” posted the RSPCA.

“He looked so sweet hopping around carrying his little teddy bear,” the organization said in a press release. “He’s clearly quite attached to the bear, so he must have been living in a home before this.”

Nigel did not suffer any physical injuries but refuses to let the stuffed toy out of his sight.

The rabbit is currently being cared for at a boarding facility where he and his teddy bear are being kept together. He is available for adoption, and he’s not leaving without his fluffy pal.

What kind of a heartless person would do this? Anyone with information is asked to contact the RSPCA.
