Bosley’s Place, located in Smyrna, Georgia is a rescue and nursery exclusively for homeless and orphaned neonatal (0-4 weeks) puppies.

In March, 2025, three puppies, only eight-days-old, were rescued by firemen from a burning home. Their mother made the ultimate sacrifice; she shielded her litter of puppies with her own body, protecting them from the approaching flames. The puppies were all brought to Bosley’s Place. Their eyes were still closed.

See their video here:

Half Pint and his littermates were rescued from a house fire as newborns. He’s here today because their mama laid on top of her litter and saved their lives by sacrificing her own. As heartbreaking as that is, Half Pint is ready to honor her by living life to the fullest with his forever family….he just needs to find them first!

Half Pint is one of the smartest, friendliest, most affectionate puppies you’ll ever meet; he is always ready to play and always ready to give kisses. He’s full of life, love, and an energy that makes everyone around him smile.

Now, only one pup remains unadopted. And despite it all, Half Pint is pure joy. He lives in the moment. His happy energy is contagious, and his tail never stops wagging.

Smart and sweet, Half Pint knows “sit,” sleeps through the night, and is crate trained. He loves fetch, chase with his foster siblings and making new friends everywhere he goes. Dogs, cats, kids—he fits in beautifully. This boy is the full package; loving, playful, gentle and ready. His favorite place however is near his person. Could you be that special one in his life?
