A two-year-old boxer named Moo-Linda received a reassuring hug and snuggle from a shelter volunteer at the Humane Society of Cherokee County in Gaffney, South Carolina. Both she and her sister who arrived at the shelter together will run out of time on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.

This is what we know about Moo-Linda:

Kennel ID: 4

Hold Ends: June 22, 2023

Breed: Boxer x

Appearance: Black and white

Gender: Female

Estimated age: 2 years

Estimated Weight: 62 pounds

Health: No obvious issues

We do know this girl loves to snuggle; her photo gives it all away. Moo-Linda loves attention and hugging. She was sweet and great during her evaluation, and would love to be a lap dog – although she might be a little too big for one’s lap. One caveat however – Moo-Linda likes to be active, so she will need a place to run and exercise. It is not known if she is housetrained.

As for other dogs, she did fine with the shelter’s test dog, but so far she has been more interested in being with people and cuddling.

Moo-Linda arrived with a dog, dubbed Marshmallow who might have been her littermate.

It would be ideal if both dogs could be adopted together, but it isn’t mandatory, since both dogs do fine by themselves. She does walk well on the leash.

She would do best in a home without cats. And as far as children, she has not been tested and as always, it is recommended children be supervised at all times.
