What could had been a very tragic situation for two starving and abandoned puppies, turned out to be their lucky day when a city employee at a Dallas gun range spotted the two scurry behind target stands in fright.

According to Dallas Dog – Rescue.Rehab.Reform, who stepped forward to help, the employee was able to get the puppies to safety. How they ended up there remains a mystery.

Meet Spark and Ember; the two were starving and overheated. The temperature that day had been over a 100 degrees and the heat index scored at 120 degrees.

One can only imagine why they were left there where they were in the crosshairs of should we say crossfire? They are safe and will receive the care they need.

Are you able to foster or donate to their care it would be appreciated. They arrive today.
