At Indianapolis Animal Care Services, we want to introduce social media to a one-year-old male pittie mix who arrived at the shelter very tired and even more defeated. Since his rescue, he has perked up a bit; being fed well and receiving appropriate medical care has greatly helped.

According to the staff, Godfrey is very sweet and gentle, but let’s face it – just being a bully breed discourages would-be adopters without even giving this affectionate boy a chance. This sweetheart will lean right into the person showing him attention, and don’t be surprised when he reaches up to give lots of wet kisses.

He seems to have little experience on leash and will sometimes have to be carried here and there as he will put the brakes on and drop down.

Godfrey is on a hypo-allergenic diet and being treated for demodex. He sure could use a new best friend. If interested in meeting this 45-pounds of love, contact [email protected].

Please share Godfrey’s story with friends, family and social media contacts. Every dog deserves a home where he is loved.
