Severely neglected dog no one cared about until NYC rescue picked up the pieces to help

In the eyes of the law, animals are considered personal property and have little or no legal rights of their own. The tragedy is that some people just don’t care, and their pets don’t matter to them. As a heartbreaking example of the heartlessness, Sadie was found as a stray in Tennessee, and she is no more than a bag of bones covered over with a thin layer of skin.

There will likely be no consequences for Sadie’s owner. No one knows where she came from, and no one seemed to have cared. Fortunately, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC stepped up to help and are now doing everything possible to help her. She is currently under the care of the organization’s partner veterinary hospital in Georgia.

sadie is a bag of bones. there is nothing to her. Just skin and fur over a skeleton. there is no one to go after because she was a ‘stray’.

Sadie is about five-years-old and no doubt has had a lousy life. Besides being severely emaciated, she is also heartworm positive.
