A viral clip on TikTok has garnered more than four million views after a dog accidentally knocked out his groomer and had to be rescued by his owner. The unusual situation occurred on January 9 and was shared by user @a.van.named.cheet0.

Check out the video:

“When he knocked the groomer out with his head and I had to come get him like this.”

The video begins with the dog, Bean, looking rather sad towards the camera. Then we see Bean being restrained and wearing a muzzle after he knocked the groomer out.

So let’s discuss grooming, and how we can better prepare our pets for what can be truly stressful situations at the groomers. It is suggested you might help your dog get used to being touched by beginning to rub your hands up and down your dog’s legs. Then start handling your dog’s ears, mouth, face and concentrate a bit more towards his eyes.

Brush your dog all over brushing his legs, body and face. Don’t forget to gently brush his tail. Be patient when introducing your dog to all the grooming equipment including a hair dryer, and let him explore all the tools you use. In some cases, a muzzle has to be used, because some dogs become so terrified that they could bite in fear. Train your dog to wear a muzzle around the house if needed – it’s not the worst thing in the world for a short period of time, and it can save your groomer from a serious bite and/or your dog from being labeled “vicious.”

Now, we don’t know if Bean will ever want to visit the groomer’s again, but we have heard the groomer is fine.

Hey everyone, I pinned explanation videos. I wouldn’t post if the groomer or Bean weren’t ok. I felt awful and was concerned for both Bean & groomer.
