Meet Martha – an adorable black shepherd and pittie mix, weighing in at 70 pounds. At the Cheyenne, Wyoming’s Black Dog Animal Rescue, poor Martha has been at various foster homes and a few failed adoptions; none of them due to Martha’s fault either.

According to the rescue organization, Martha has become friends with her foster siblings, but she still doesn’t have a home to call her own. She loves to play, and when the day is done, there’s nothing better, cuter and sweeter than Martha having a loving cuddle on the couch.

It was Cowboy State Daily, who posted the shelter’s  press release which read, “Wyoming’s Homeliest Dog To Spend Christmas Without A Home. Still.” And of course, our hearts melted, and therefore wanting to share with readers to help this precious pup find a home for Christmas.

It is not known if the dog’s crooked face is the result of trauma or from a birth defect, and the press release stated Martha was not likely to win any beauty contests.

but we all know it’s what inside that counts and martha has loads of heart and personality to share. Her foster home and our staff absolutely adore her and would love nothing more than to see her find a home in time for the holiday.
