In Antrim County, Michigan, an abandoned dog now has a new, loving home thanks to a Michigan State Police trooper who immediately formed a bond with this adorable pooch when she rescued her.

According to the Detroit News, Trooper Kayla Moore had responded to a report of an abandoned dog in Antrim County. Authorities had been to the Jordan Valley area several times after numerous reports of a litter of puppies left to fend on their own.

And there she was – Rosie who just knew that this person was the human of her dreams! On the way to the shelter, the two formed a special bond.

And it wasn’t long after, that Rosie had been brought to the Antrim County Animal Shelter, when Moore decided to adopt her and filled out an application.

Please follow Trooper Moore’s example and adopt your best friend. If in the area, contact the Antrim County Animal Shelter at 231.533.6421.
