In Canada, a video shared on TikTok by user @sydsoucy quickly went viral garnering more than 3.2 million views. The October 23 reel showed a moose, who somehow got himself all tangled up in Halloween decorations of spider webs and a skull, freed from the mess.

Now to face some facts before watching this incredibly brave couple helping this moose to get untangled. These huge animals can be very dangerous, and probably for good reason known to moose, aren’t particularly partial to human companionship. Now this moose, however seemed to have caught himself in a rather precarious situation, and seemed to understand that this man was helping him.

When the couple saw that the moose had his antlers stuck with ghoul decorations making it hard for him to see, they wanted to help. First, the man used a pole to try and keep his distance and hook the cloth, but had to proceed very slowly as not to scare the moose.

And when that didn’t work, the couple lured him to a section of chain linked fence where they were able to pull the decorations off of his antlers with their hands.

So what are your opinions on how the moose acted after he was freed of the cloth and web work?

“Thank goodness we got it off. We were pretty happy about the fence being there, although if he wanted to take it down, it wouldn’t do much.”

Notice the fence which separated man from moose was a safety benefit, but didn’t the moose take a few moments to thank the men? The moose looked as though he licked the man’s hand in gratitude.
