In a series of heartbreaking photos, we met Ralphie; a dog spotted by a Good Samaritan being thrown out of a truck late last night. When the kind rescuers were finally able to find in the rough bushes, Ralphie had been lying on top of the trash bag he had been tied up in and tossed away as if his life didn’t matter.
Perhaps it is just rhetorical to ask how could anyone be so heartless and cruel, but no matter how much we see it, the pain in our hearts never goes away. And there was poor Ralphie lying listless on the spot where he landed, essentially giving up on life.
Rescue Dogs Rock NYC immediately stepped up to help; volunteers and rescuers worked all night to find an emergency veterinarian hospital to try and save his life. Poor Ralphie was in critical condition and in severe pain. Everything possible will and is being done to save his life.
Ralphie is on heavy pain meds and Iv fluids and admitted to the emergency hospital. We hope he survives; we are praying so hard for him. He’s extremely critical.
