A two-year-old Siberian husky is scheduled to be euthanized at the Riverside County Animal Control – Coachella Shelter. He arrived at the shelter as a stray, and the finder said he had been in her area for weeks and was friendly with other dogs he encountered.
According to the shelter however, “Luther” seemed healthy, but he initially appeared fearful and retreated to the back of his kennel murmuring a low growl. As happens to many dogs, Luther is not doing well in the shelter environment, and his status has been changed to “rescue only.”
