In Tower Grove Park in St. Louis, Missouri, this little two-year-old dog was barely recognizable as even a dog. People walked by him and just ignored him; no one seemed to care or offered to help.
And just like that – Stray Rescue of St. Louis arrived on Tuesday afternoon. His rescuers named him Matsamillion, and it was obvious he had never been groomed in his life. His feet were raw, and it was obvious he needed some help.
Just hours later, Matsamillion began feeling a lot better.
Sure, he needed to be sedated to make the clean up process easier and less stressful for him and of course for his groomers. He was shaved, bathed and groomed. What an amazing day for this little dog.
And just like that…
Matsamillion is sooo tiny! We’re going to see if we have a tiny-enough sweater. He’ll be on a fefeeding schedule until we get him up to a healthy weight. He is absolutely perfect in every way. Waht a big day for this baby.
