A handsome old boy named Spencer is waiting at a busy California animal shelter. The nine-year-old husky has been at the Carson Animal Services facility since mid-December, and nobody has offered to adopt or rescue him as of yet.

The Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page posted a bit of information about the homeless dog, writing:

#A5454653 Spencer ❤️❤️❤️❤️ is a senior gentleman that would love to share your home. He’s very polite. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION, HIGH SCHOOL AGED (REC), CALM DOGS (REQ).

Given Spencer’s intake date of 12/19 and his available date of 12/23, it appears that he was picked up as a stray. Hard to imagine, but nobody came to the facility to claim him and take him back home. At this point in time, it appears that nobody is coming for this sweet older dog.

Will you please share Spencer’s adoption information? He should be enjoying human companionship and the comforts of a home instead of a loud, frightening kennel run. You can find Spencer’s adoption profile at this link.
