In San Antonio, Texas, animal rescuers are trying to help a bonded pair of senior dogs find a home before they are surrendered to an overcrowded animal shelter where they will likely be euthanized. Sadly, surrendered dogs and seniors are the first ones to be “red listed” and therefore have their lives ended the same day as they enter the shelter.

And now on social media, a plea has gone public asking for help finding the bonded pair a new home. It seems as if their current owner stated he wanted to travel, even though he has had both dogs with him, since they were both puppies.

Her name is Girl, and she is 11-years-old. She weighs between 15 and 17 pounds.

Goose is 10-years-old and weighs between 45 and 50 pounds. Both dogs are up-to-date on their vaccinations and neither dog has any known medical issues. They are fine with other dogs and cats and like everyone. Both dogs have been spayed and neutered.

Please note the dogs have not yet been surrendered to the shelter. If interested in helping please message Osanna here.

  1. THIS IS FAR BEYOND CRUEL! THIS IS LIKE ABANDONING CHILDREN!
NO BRAINS AND NO HEART! KARMA WILL FOLLOW HIS TRAVELS!

WE CAN DONATE TO THEIR CARE UNTIL A PERMANENT HOME IS FOUND.
    PLEASE LET US KNOW HOW!
