In North Miami, Florida a woman is devastated after two men carjacked her friend’s vehicle at gunpoint with her 14-year-old totally blind dog in the back seat.

According to NewsLocal10, the dog’s owner, Valentina, said her elderly Shiba Inu named Tina is just like a daughter to her, and she desperately is asking anyone who may have seen her to return her.

Valentina had been on a road trip from Canada visiting a friend in Miami, and Tina accompanied the women everywhere. And on Thursday evening when she pulled into the driveway of her friend’s home on Northwest 135th Street and got out of the passenger seat to rearrange some things from her friend’s car to her own, suddenly there was a lot of commotion and a physical assault.

Two men had pointed a gun at her friend and pulled her out of her black 2017 Nissan Versa Note and sped away. Tina was still in the back seat. The dog was wearing a red harness. She is still missing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the North Miami Police of Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305.471.8477. Please help to bring Tina home.
