A dog who was adopted on June 10 has been returned by a man who told a volunteer that she was “too nice.” The man had hoped for a guard dog on his property, but the dog he adopted, named Miracle, “likes everybody,” so she was taken back to the same shelter where she had been adopted.

Miracle’s advocate writes:

Returned after being adopted on 6/10/22 because “she’s too nice”. She likes everybody and he needed a GUARD dog on his property is what he told the volunteer when he pulled up in the parking lot with her in a metal trailer on a hot day, burning her pads.

Adding:

How sad for “Miracle” (named by staff) to be punished for being a good dog. I guess it’s a blessing in disguise, since she would have had a horrible life

Will you please share Miracle’s adoption information to help her find a kind and loving owner who will treat her the way that she deserves to be treated? Miracle may look tough, but she appears to be a lover, rather than a fighter.
