A dreamy German shepherd named Rocco has been sitting in his kennel run at the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Downey facility since mid-December. Despite his obvious good looks and endearing personality, the five-year-old shepherd remains unwanted by potential adopters.

Is five years of age too old for people to consider for adoption? Or are there not enough German shepherd lovers in the area? Perhaps he is just one too many of the homeless dogs…

Regardless of the reason, this handsome boy needs to be seen – and he needs to be adopted. This week, an advocate shared his photos, writing:

ROCCO-💗He is a illuminating, such a handsome boy. Being perfect waiting for for his treat. 💗 Rocco, is always on his best behavior when ever I see him. And his greetings are warm and welcoming. He is a White Marshmallow Fluff Cupcake Supreme….

You can lend Rocco a hand by sharing his adoption information. Somewhere out there his perfect person is waiting, they just don’t know it yet. You can find Rocco’s adoption profile at this link.
