A young dog named Suga has lost her sparkle following her surrender to an animal shelter in Wheaton, Illinois. The Facebook page for DuPage County Animal Services explains what shelter life has done to sweet Suga’s demeanor, writing:
Suga is breaking our hearts over here. In just one week of being kenneled, we’ve watched this beautiful little speckled princess go from happy and carefree to full-on panicked. Is anyone able to help her today?
According to the animal shelter’s post, the two-year-old dog enjoyed the company of children, dogs, and cats in her former home. Suga needs a new family who will love and appreciate her. Please share her adoption information and help Suga find a new home.
