Meet Chief – welcome to the world of a one-year-old playful and a bit mischievous golden retriever, but a pooch sure to capture one’s heart because he’s just so darn adorable. As a matter of fact, according to The Dodo, Chief gets involved in all kinds of mischief; on top of his list is a bit of rug chewing.
Recently Chief was neutered, and as most dog owners know, dogs must wear a cone or more appropriately referred to as the “cone of shame” so as to keep the dogs from licking or chewing on their stitches as their wound heals. Chief was not happy having to wear his cone, and his protests were all too clear including Chief trying to chew it off.
Two weeks passed, and finally it was time for Chief to have his cone removed from around his neck. But wait! Later that afternoon, his mom noticed something very odd. Huh? Check the TikTok account for whitley_i_guess.

Yep, Chief was in the living room wearing his cone. Now he liked it! He rolled around, played with it, danced and chewed on it for awhile. We suppose Chief was fine with wearing the cone as long as it was his decision.
And then that particular adventure drew to an end; enough of the cone. Chief got to decide what he was going to do, because that’s exactly what he wanted to do.
He did in fact, put it on himself. Hated it so much that he tore it to pieces, but now it’s an accessory?? #fyp #fypシ #puppy #goldenretriever
