In south Texas, a puppy had been abandoned in a cardboard box. She had been left alone on the side of the road, but she never left the box and waited for someone to help her or maybe she thought her owner was coming back.

According to Dallas Dog Rescue. Rehab. Reform, the heat index had been over 110 degrees that day, but she refused to leave the box. Fortunately a neighbor found her and gave her water. Animal Control arrived and picked her up. The 14-week-old puppy was named “Harvest” because the box she was found said “Premium Harvest Seasoned Diced Potatoes.”

On her way to the rescue organization, the trembling puppy still refused to leave her cardboard box, and so her foster mom left the box in her kennel. It took Harvest about a week to start feeling comfortable and safe, and it wasn’t long before Harvest traded in her cardboard box for a soft bed.

And now the best news of all – on Thursday, Dallas Dog Rescue. Rehab. Reform posted the latest update for Harvest, and yes, it’s the best news of all. And just like that – Harvest found her loving home.

Just like that! Harvest has found her forever home. She was abandoned in a box found by a Good Samaritan and then rescued! An amazing foster stepped up and now she has found her forever home!!!.

Happy Gotcha Day Harvest

I had the pleasure of being at the meet and greet and she will be spoiled and loved for eternity!!!
