In Michigan, the staff at the Taylor County Animal Shelter reached out to the Animal Resource Funding Foundation on Sunday for help. A nine-month-old puppy had been thrown from a moving vehicle, and if that wasn’t cruel enough, it appeared she had been beaten and kicked in the past – as old and new fractures were diagnosed by veterinarians treating the defenseless little one.
“How do you beat a puppy into oblivion then throw it out of a moving vehicle? Monsters walk among us. I spoke to the ER Vet and she has multiple broken ribs, broken hips, and her back is fractured. She cannot stand up on her own. Look at that face. We will call her Hope. We will give her every chance to thrive. She has old fractures as well which means she was beaten previously. My God she is not even 9 months old,” the rescue organization posted on their Facebook page.
Please donate if you can as the puppy’s bill is already over $1900 at the EMERGENCY Clinic. On Monday, she will be transported to Woodhaven Animal Hospital and has a long recovery ahead of her.
